Fibre optics is a very innovative technology that has undoubtedly brought a great connection to the Internet in a way that makes users think that there are no better high-speed connections. Thanks to fibre optics, we have gone a step further in sending very large data files over the network in a very short time, and there are speeds that are very high, perfect for sending and receiving large files in a few seconds. The only problem is that fibre optic cabling does not easily reach rural areas.

The Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation, using support from the Secretary of State for Telecommunications and Digital Infrastructure, has created an open consultation. It endows 73.3 million euros to help the UNICO programme.

The rural areas of the country that do not have good connection or at least most of these areas will have fibre optics by the year 2025 which will make it possible for citizens to connect to the internet at high speeds. The government wants to give this population a new way to connect, so it has decided to help with the settings and monthly fees and even the installation of the equipment.

The consultation made by the Government will be available for the month of June, precisely on the 9th, to know more information about it, you need to visit the website of Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Broadcasting.

IT WILL BE A GOOD WORK

It is no secret that internet connectivity opens up many opportunities for people who know how to take advantage of what the network has to offer. Therefore, it is important that more and more people have access to fibre optics, so that they have other ways of studying, working, entertainment and help that can make them have better ways of doing their lives.

There is no doubt that these kinds of ideas are usually very good, but they must be carried out in the right way, it is important that high speed internet really reaches the rural areas so that they can have improvements.

It is expected that the fibre optic network will also bring changes and improvements to people because they will have access to other important technologies. These technologies need high speed connections, so it is very important that in every part of Spain there are better connections, this is something that industries and governments know, so it is expected that with these plans to bring higher speed connections to remote places will be given. Not only can there be high speed connections in the big cities, but also in those small and rural areas where citizens need to have high speeds to do all kinds of things over the web.
